Luba Goy coming to Barrie
BARRIE- The Royal Canadian Air Farce’s Luba Goy will be in Barrie in April – and that’s no joke.
She will be here for an April 14 at the Georgian Theatre, a Barrie International Comedy Festival special presentation.
The comedienne is best known for being part of the CBC’s well-loved comedy troupe. She has also, however, been recognized with two honorary doctorates, 15 ACTRAs, a Juno and a star on Canada’s Walk of Fame.
Goy will offer a glimpse into her own life, but she will undoubtedly transform herself into famous personalities, including a few prime ministers.
Tickets go on sale Friday and are $35 and $45, plus HST.
Comedy festival producer Talk Is Free Theatre is also offering an evening out package, which includes dinner at the Georgian Dining Room and special seating, for $125 plus tax per person.
