To Make a Gift to TIFT As an artist driven company, Talk Is Free Theatre nourishes the artistic community by producing a wide range of off-centre, inventive and rare programming. Through our artistic work, community involvement and business innovation, our goal of developing a unique, vibrant and internationally recognized cultural identify for the City of Barrie is being realized. Through the support of individuals like you, our donation program keeps administrative costs low so that we can spend our funds on world class theatre productions. Our Annual Giving Campaign makes gifting to the theatre simple and rewarding. Offering a pledge program from $10 per month (that proverbial “cup of coffee”) there is a program to suit every budget. Simply arranging a credit card payment is easy and means you never have to remember to send a cheque! See how your support can help… Your support of $50 will enable 10 area high school students to attend performances at subsidized rates of $10 per ticket. Your support of $100 will enable 10 area high school students to attend performances at subsidized rates and donate 2 tickets to another charitable organization for an auction. Your support of $250 (or $25 per month) will enable 10 area high school students to attend performances at subsidized rates, donate 2 tickets to another charitable organization for an auction and send an artist into a classroom setting under our “Artists in the Classroom Program”. Your support of $500 (of $55 per month) will enable us to hire a local artist for one week and continue offering our Youth Mentorship Program, Small Talk, to 30 local youth at risk on an ongoing basis, free of charge.
