TORONTO — January 29, 2020: Tickets to The WOW Collection, a massive and awe-inspiring collection of artistic programming, are on sale today at thewowcollection.ca. The unprecedented festival of immersive arts will bring curious audiences hundreds of extraordinary experiential, site-specific and immersive performances.

The WOW Collection will span across two cities — Toronto and Barrie — from March 18 until May 17, 2020 with 10 high calibre productions that blur the lines between stage and audience, and art and life, as the patron becomes the protagonist. The productions are multidisciplinary, with the inclusion of theatre, dance, music, and visual arts, and some performances will even transport audiences between the cities as part of the narrative.

The WOW Collection will host the Canadian premiere of the acclaimed The Museum of Fiction, starring Canada’s leading theatrical artist Robert Lepage and created and produced by his protégé Matías Umpierrez. Another boldface name involved in the collection is Evelyn Hart, legendary ballerina and Canadian Walk of Fame inductee, who will perform in the world premiere of TranscenDance Project’s A Grimm Night.

This ambitious project for all ages is generously supported by Ontario Trillium Foundation, Department of Canadian Heritage, Celebrate Ontario, RT07 and Ontario Cultural Attractions Fund. Partners include Barrie Film Festival and Tourism Barrie.
