There is much behind-the-scenes that goes into producing a great piece of theatre. There are auditions, casting, rehearsals and, of course, set design. Creating an atmosphere suited to the script, while at the same time taking into account limited resources can be a challenge. That is why Talk Is Free Theatre is thrilled to announce it latest major sponsor – Ferndale Trim and Doors.

As TIFT’s new Design Sponsor, Ferndale Trim and Doors will provide the theatre with much needed supplies, transportation assistance as well as helping to build some of the sets.

“Live Theatre is an intimate entertainment experience between the audience and the performers. Talk Is Free Theatre offers an array of programs to introduce this art form to many generations. We believe supporting them in their mission is our contribution in keeping this art form alive and well,” said Ken and Diane Frederick of Ferndale Trim and Doors.

“We couldn’t be more honoured to have this local company become TIFT’s Design Sponsor. Ken and Diane Frederick have been supporters for a while and this new partnership comes at a very critical time as we augment our production values for a growing audience.”

Ferndale Trim and Doors’ contribution is estimated at $15,000. Talk Is Free Theatre relies on the financial and in-kind support of community sponsors and donors to help develop a unique, vibrant and internationally recognized cultural identity for the City of Barrie.
