Admission Policy during COVID-19

In accordance with the Provincial mandate for theatres and many other public gathering places, all Talk Is Free Theatre patrons will require proof of full vaccination status to gain admittance to any indoor performance.

To be considered “fully vaccinated”, patrons must have received either the second dose of a two-dose COVID-19 vaccine at least 14 days prior to the performance date.

Official proof of vaccination must be presented at time of entry along with a performance ticket.

Proof of vaccination can either be displayed either on a smartphone or with a physical copy.

Patrons that are 18 years of age or older must also present a government-issued photo ID. Patrons younger than 18 years of age may use a government-issued photo ID or school photo ID. Patrons under 12 years of age must be accompanied by an adult who meets the above requirements.

Children under 12 years of age, who are accompanied by an adult that meets the above vaccination requirements, will be allowed entry in accordance with the region’s prevailing medical guidance at the time of the performance.

Exceptions will be made only for patrons who provide proof of exemption as required by the Province.

For the safety of all our patrons, artists and staff, Talk Is Free Theatre will not admit any patrons who are unable to provide this required documentation.

Mask wearing is mandatory for both outdoor and indoor events, concerts and performances. This includes all areas of the theatre and during performances. Social distancing and capacity restrictions within the theatre remain in place.

As government mandates continue to evolve, our protocols will likewise be amended and updated.
