As of January 2021, admission to core-theatre programming in Barrie will be Free for the following three years.
To ensure equity and fairness to all patrons reserving tickets, a security charge of $0.01 CAD is required to reserve a spot. This security measure is to ensure that each purchase is being made by a patron and to avoid hoarding by online bots. Patrons can cancel up to 4 hours before the performance without charge and are able to reschedule up to 4 hours before the performance without charge. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to make any changes. In the event a patron fails to cancel or make alternate changes and does not attend the performance, a $25.00 charge will be applied to the patron’s credit card. This charge will be used as a donation to the theatre and a tax receipt will be issued.
GENERAL ONLINE ATTENDANCE REQUIREMENTS
Online performances are still live performances and require an engaged audience. For patrons attending productions online, the company kindly asks that patrons remain engaged and online for the duration of the performance. Early departure from a performance may result in a $25.00 CAD charge to the patron’s credit card. A tax receipt will be issued for the donation.
GENERAL TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
Online productions that use platforms such as Zoom require a good internet connection. TIFT kindly asks that attendees take their internet capabilities into consideration before registering. Please consult the individual production page for specific technical requirements.
All funds taken are in CDN dollars. Book your seats early to avoid disappointment. All ticket sales are final. Subscription ticket holders have the right to exchange booked tickets provided that they contact the box office at least 1 hour in advance of their scheduled performance.
In the interest of all patrons – latecomers will not be seated and any persons leaving the auditorium will not be seated until a suitable break. Management does not accept responsibility for the inconvenience and can make no adjustment on account of it.
The use of cameras, recording equipment, pagers and cellular phones is prohibited inside the auditorium.
Artists and programming are current at time of sale and are subject to change.
Food and Beverage items, projectiles and other prohibited substances are not permitted inside the auditorium.
Your use of a ticket constitutes acknowledgment of willingness to appear in photographs, motion pictures and videos taken in public areas of the building and releases the Theatre, its lessees and all others from liability resulting from use of such photographs, motion pictures and/or videos.
By ordering a ticket to an event, you are consenting to Talk Is Free Theatre may send promotional information to you unless you elect otherwise in your account.
All orders are subject to credit card approval and billing address verification. Please adhere to published ticket limits.
Camp and class refunds: There will be no refunds issued if a camper misses one or all days of camp. TIFT does not issue refunds after tuition has been received. If a camper cannot make it to the week of programming for medical reasons after signing up, the camper may receive a credit note for any of the summer day camps (upon presentation of medical note).
Management reserves the right to refund the purchase price and refuse admission.
